Overview

Established in 2004, Sieu Viet Manpower Joint Stock Company (Sieu Viet Group), formerly Quick Job Search Joint Stock Company, operates in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to serve as the recruiting partner to over 700,000 businesses. As a pioneering human resources service provider, the Company receives more than 10 million resumes and 50 million traffic daily from the four job-hunting websites: timviecnhanh.com, vieclam24h.vn, viectotnhat.com, and mywork.com.vn

Challenges

Being a top service provider in the country, Sieu Viet Group knew it needed to serve itself with a better resource planning tool. 

Cross-department collaboration was a major obstacle the Group was facing. The teams used to manage their progress on different platforms following a timeline of their own. Although they enjoyed the liberty to design their respective workflow, this makes coordinating with other teams almost an impossible job as the company continues to grow, given the parallel schedules. On top of that, the managers also found it challenging to get updates from the teams and manage their members' performances. 

Overseeing all four major Vietnamese recruitment sites with a drastically growing database also made bookkeeping a lot harder than it should be. With outdated accounting software in use that lacked compatibility with other systems, Sieu Viet Group was also contributing extra hours to administrative tasks—tracking user activity and managing all the service packages on the recruitment websites of varying natures, for instance. 

Solutions

The Group decided it was time to tackle these issues and went to our partner, A1 Consulting, for a fully integrated Odoo implementation. Tailoring the solution for Sieu Viet Group, the A1 Consulting team implemented Odoo CRM, Sales, Accounting, Studio, Approvals, and Inventory modules over 3 months before they go-live.

Results

The implementation that introduces real-time automation on Odoo is to the client's satisfaction. Manual activities have since reduced by 60% while employee productivity has grown by 40%. And here is a breakdown of how we do it with A1 Consulting.


With the integration across different modules, inter-team communications are as easy as breathing. Account management goes much smoother now with CRM, a module that automatically creates profiles for users new to Sieu Viet Group's contact list. The implementation also saves the marketing and operation units time from warehouse management, since they can now monitor the shipping and ordering stages of all the supplies, tools, and promotional materials through the Approval and Sales modules in real-time. In turn, this helps the Board of Directors to make timely business decisions.
